Bringing your Tefillin
How Should I Mail Them?
What is the Cost of Checking?
The cost of checking most tefillin is $105 per set unless they are Gazot – made of one thick piece of leather.
With this second type of tefillin there is a second optional step of sealing and refinishing them at the base so that they end-up looking much nicer and maintain their square shape overtime. The cost of this additional step is $50.00 and takes an extra three days after they have been checked and sewn closed
What Happens after you Receive Them?
When we receive your tefillin, we will first perform an outside inspection and notify you if they are in need of additional work. Only afterwards will we open the housings and check the interior parchments.
What Happens if they are not Kosher?
We always carry a full assortment of tefillin housings, parchments, belts and other accessories in case that you may need to replace any of the above components.
Contact us by phone or email to schedule your upcoming tefillin check.
