At SeferTorah.Net we meticulously check all orders that go out prior to shipping to insure that everything arrives in accordance to the highest standards that you deserve. Please open your package once it arrives to make sure everything arrived in order.

Defective Items

If your product arrives defective, you may return it for a refund, or an immediate replacement. Please contact us within 3 days of the item being received.

Returns of any item must be done within 14 Days from time of delivery. Before returning any item, please contact us by phone or email us at We are here to help you.

Prepaid Labels

Prepaid Labels are available for returns on items that are defective within the USA only. For international shipments or items that were damaged in transit within the USA please see our policy below.

Shipping Charges on Returned Items

Please note that the original shipping charges on the returned merchandise are not refundable unless the return is due to our error. For all other orders or returns that are exchanged we will need to charge our standard shipping fee to cover the additional outbound shipping costs of the new item.

Conditions of Return

Any returned merchandise must be undamaged, unused and unworn with all original packaging. We are not able to cover the return cost of shipping for items which differed from what you expected. If you would like us to provide you a prepaid return label, we will deduct the cost of the label from your refund.

Non-Returnable Items

Custom order items such as Sifrei Torah, Tiks, Tefillin, Silver Torah Ornaments and other specialty Judaica cannot be returned unless defective. These items are not generally stocked by us. We order them as needed from our suppliers and are therefore not returnable. Please be 100% sure you like the style or item prior to placing your order.

STaM like mezuzot and megillot that have been rolled, placed or sewn into their cases, they and their containers are not returnable. The same applies to Atarahs attached on talitot, custom tied tzizit including tekhelet, personalized tefillin/tallit bags, Ketubot and other custom specialty artwork. These are one of a kind items that cannot be modified or exchanged.

Item Lost or Damaged in the Mail

We cannot be held responsible for items that are lost or damaged in the mail. Please make your selection for shipping carefully, unless the option with insurance is chosen, your item will be mailed out uninsured.

Selecting a Carrier

We ship most of our items via USPS. If this is not a reliable method for delivery in your area, be sure to select the UPS option or UPS with insurance and signature required. We are always available to assist you if you require special shipping and handling arrangements.

International Orders

All Duties and Taxes are the sole responsibility of the customer. SeferTorah.Net does not cover these charges in the shipping rates.

International Returns

International orders cannot be returned via international post, only by walk-in or if mailed within the USA. If you need additional time to return an item, please contact us within 14 days after receiving your order.

Refunds on International Orders

We are unable to process refunds for shipping for any issues with International orders. We meticulously check all orders before they go out. If there was a mistake or you change your mind with an international order we are unable to process refunds for shipping and returns. Only in the USA.

Stuck in Customs or Lost

Packages that cannot be delivered or clear customs at the intended international destination are usually abandoned and destroyed by your local customs. We cannot take responsibility for destroyed, abandoned or undelivered international orders and a refund will not be issued.
